We keep our monthly dues at a reasonable cost because of the many volunteers who tend to some of our responsibilities. Here are just a few ideas where you can invest your time and talents to keep Harbour Towne running efficiently!
The Landscape Committee was formed to assist the Board in improving and maintaining the quality and ambience of the grounds in Harbour Towne. Our duties include addressing CCIS requests, walkabout inspection of the complex to monitor the condition of the grounds, evaluating trees and replacements, coordinating with the Co-Owners and a professional landscape designer for re-landscaping each building, and whatever other projects that come to our attention from the Board.
If you are passionate about landscaping, and have a global interest in the condition of our grounds at Harbour Towne, please consider joining the Landscape Committee.

Our committee has two primary responsibilities. The first is to meet with new condo owners to welcome them into our community. Our Welcome Packet includes information about our condo living, such as, how to access our website, report building issues, trash and recycling, etc. We also provide information about the Muskegon area.
Our second task is planning the two main social events for our association. In the summer, we plan and host the Summer Party, a gathering of condo residents and families for an outdoor potluck. In December, we organize the Holiday Party, currently held at the lovely Muskegon Country Club. Both social events provide an opportunity to meet and connect with friends and neighbors.

We want to keep our community safe and healthy and pay it forward….
We’re a collection of interested condo neighbors who are willing and able to help our condo neighbors in a pinch. We help our neighbors with things as simple as temporarily bringing in their mail when they’re away or can’t get to their mailbox, to helping replace light bulbs that are out of reach. We also provide meals for a time for those who are injured, ill, or are recuperating from surgery. (Oh yeah, if you know someone who needs our help, please let us know and we’ll send someone who can help!)

Our community stays up-to-date by reading our monthly newsletter. Co-owners Ted and Joanne Bensinger took on the lead to publish a monthly newsletter and were aided by Angie Clark (Gerow Management Co.) and Steve LeBel (Co-owner and technology guru).
The newsletter generally includes:
- contribution from the HTCA Board President
- neighbor interviews
- Harbour Towne activities
- calendar of Harbour Towne and Muskegon events
- contact information for Board members and the Property Management Company
The newsletter is distributed by email on the last day of the month to all emails provided to the Management Company. A paper copy is mailed to those Co-owners without computer or smartphone access. Current and past newsletters are also available in the Protected Resources section of the HTCA website.
We’re always looking for content to entertain and educate our community. Please help us by sending photos, article suggestions or volunteer to be profiled in “Meet Your Neighbors.”

Information Management Team
We support the goals of all these other fabulous teams! We ask questions to understand
what they’re trying to accomplish and then make recommendations on processes and
technology to make their work easier. Together we come up with a solution, build it, test
it, and make sure it works as we planned.
We also maintain the Harbour Towne website, maintenance request system, e-mail system, in fact, anything online!
We meet by video conference every other month, in “odd” months (January, March, May, July, September, November) and have one or two fun gatherings each year. We welcome anybody who wants to serve and will train you so you can be successful! Contact our team leader:
